TWIC Card Info

Eligibility
Updated On: Nov 05, 2008 (11:19:00)

The Board of Trustees have adopted the following policy to make training available for eligible members of IUOE Locals 302 and 612: Training participants should have a minimum of 200 hours working within the last 24 months for a contributing employer. (A contributing employer is one who contributes to the training fund).

Members who have not taken any training in the last two years will take priority over those who have. They want to ensure everyone has the chance to participate in a class of their choice.

Training Deposit:

A $25 Training Deposit (one fee per season) must be submitted to the Training Center prior to attending training. The deposit can be paid with a debit or credit card over the phone or a check or money can be mailed to the Training Center. This deposit is used as an effort to eliminate members not showing up for their scheduled courses and depriving others the opportunity to take training. If you must cancel your attendance in a course, reasonable notice must be given to the Training Center office to find your replacement in the course, otherwise you will forfeit your training deposit. If all requirements are met throughout the season, your $25 deposit will be refunded to you.
